Linux-Tip News

We are proud to present the Linux-Tip Portal in a new design and hope you will find it helpful, whether you are new to Linux or a seasoned user. We will attempt to provide you with effective tips and tricks, or at least to point you in the direction of the help you may need. We would like to offer a great big "Thanks!" for their excellent work to Jommla!  and  to RocketTheme . Please enjoy Linux news and workshops. Feel free to send your comments and suggestions.

Step 3:   Scanning the systems and deploying the patches

Open the web interface and update the vulnerability database by clicking on the “Update now” link.

Next you have to scan your system, download and deploy the patches by using the web interface.

On the following screen shouts you will find additional information. Please use it accordingly:

  • Scan results
  • Installed patches
  • Vulnerability reports
  • Patch history

With the software we are also able to create groups of systems as well as groups of patches. You can then decide which group of patches to deploy to which group of systems. The software can send a warning message to the user about when the patch will be installed.
