One post install settings
Mandriva
will now ask you to configure the network and Internet. Select you Ethernet
device and choose your connection protocol. We are using the manual
configuration like this:





In the next
step you have to set an administrator password and to create a user.


The “First Boot Wizard” will assist you to
register Mandriva and to create a Mandriva account. You can skip, if you want.


It’s done!
After looking in with the username and password you just created, Mandriva will
start a Gnome session. Please click on the “Find more about Metisse” button, to
open Firefox and the related Metisse website.

Just to see
how easy it is, here some examples:
To rotate
window horizontally, go on window top or bottom border, press and hold left
mouse button, a menu appear and move mouse cursor over X rotation and then move
mouse cursor to rotate window. You can also use key binding Super-F6 and
Super-F7 with mouse over the rotated window.
To rotate
window vertically, go on window left or right border, press/hold left mouse
button, move mouse cursor on Y rotation and move mouse cursor, release left
mouse button when rotation is ok for you. You can also use Super-F4 / Super-F5.
