Trick: Howto "spice IceWM up"

IceWM is a tiny window manager for Linux and Unix that requires far less memory and CPU power than even XFCE, a common window manager for lightweight systems. IceWM can be configured with plain-text files stored in the user's home directory. It's also possible to edit these files with graphical configuration tools. Read more at MyDocuments
